Have a little holiday fun by dressing up for the month of December.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

We had a great week with our annual Reading and Craft Night and the Thanksgiving luncheon. We have many things to be thankful for this Holiday Season including the support of the WLES community. Thank you for your generosity to our school. Just a reminder that we are only in session for two days next week due to Thanksgiving. I hope
you have a great weekend.

Thank you to everyone, families and staff, that came out last night to our family reading and craft event.
We hope you enjoyed your time together and had fun making the ornament.
Thanks to our FRC and Morgan Krampe for sponsoring this event.

The West Louisville Elementary cheerleading team competed November 17th at Owensboro High School in the Region 3 KAPOS Cheer Competition. The Tiger cheerleaders claimed their second region championship, advancing to KAPOS State next month in Elizabethtown.
We are so proud of this incredible team!
WEST is the BEST!

We have had a great week. It started with our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students honoring our Veterans on Monday and it will continue this weekend as the WLES Cheerleaders will compete in the regional KAPOS competition. We are excited about next week as we have our annual Reading and Craft Night and our Thanksgiving Meal. Thank you to everyone who is helping with our annual Holiday Food Drive. All items collected will go to families in need. Have a great weekend.

During the month of November we will be taking donations of books (any type). These books will be traded in for gifts for Christmas Wish.
Thank you for your generosity.

Come out on Sunday and support YOUR WLES cheerleaders as they compete in the 2024 Region 3 KAPOS competition.

We want to take a moment to let the WLES community know about our annual Veteran’s Day Ceremony Monday, Nov.11 @ 8 AM. Breakfast is at 7 AM. Our students and staff are working hard to make sure that we honor all of our Veterans. All Veterans and guests are encouraged to attend. Also, families, be on the lookout for information about the Reading and Craft Night, Holiday Food Drive and Thanksgiving Meal coming up soon. I hope you have a great weekend.

Our drive will last till December 6th. Points will be tallied and the classroom with the most points will win a classroom party from the FRC. Send items with your student to be collected outside of their classroom! If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Morgan, FRC.

A big shoutout to Officer Sutter for keeping our school safe and always supporting our students and staff. We’re grateful for everything you do to make WLES a great place to learn and grow! Thank you, Officer Sutter! 💙

What a great week! Thank you to the wonderful WLES community that came out and assisted with our annual Trunk or Treat event. We had a HUGE turnout and we could not have done it without your support. Also, special shout out to our PTO for the delicious meal for the staff, your support is invaluable. Looking forward to next week. There is no school on Tuesday due to Election Day. We are looking forward to celebrating our veterans during our annual Veterans Day ceremony on Monday, Nov. 11th at 8:00. We hope you have a great weekend.

We want to thank all our Tiger families that were able to come out last night for our Trunk or Treat event.

The WLES Cheerleaders helped kick off Red Ribbon Week leading the school in a "Just Say No" chant at the Monday Morning Meeting!

Can you believe that we are already at the end of October? This year is flying by. We hope to see everyone at our annual Trunk or Treat community event on Tuesday. We will have several candy stations for kids to visit and then our PTO and FRC are providing a chili dinner for everyone. The entire event is free and we are looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday night. Just a reminder that we are encouraging our students to wear costumes on Tuesday night but no costumes will be allowed at school on Halloween. Have a great weekend.

Please take a moment to fill out the Google form if your family plans to attend our Trunk or Treat event on Tuesday, 10/29.
Thanks.....we want to make sure we have plenty of candy and dinner for all in attendance.

This week, we celebrate our incredible bus drivers who ensure our students arrive at school safely, every single day. Rain or shine, they are the first smiling faces some of our kids see, and the last ones wishing them well as they head home. Thank you for your patience, dedication, and the care you show in keeping our students safe. #TransportationAppreciationWeek

We celebrate Red Ribbon Week to highlight the importance of living a drug-free lifestyle. Please help us celebrate by dressing up for each theme of the day for the week of Oct. 28 - Nov. 1.
