Daviess County Public Schools and Owensboro Public Schools Boards of Education will host a joint board meeting on Thursday, October 17th at 6pm at the Owensboro Board of Education Office. The Boards will hear from the Kentucky School Boards Association about Amendment 2 which will be on the ballot this election day. This meeting will be open to the public and all are encouraged to attend. There will be no public comment session as this is a special called meeting with no action items. Those in attendance will not be permitted to have signs, shirts, etc. promoting any position related to this ballot measure.
Students in Elementary and Middle School who pack their lunch can now receive up to three free items to accompany their packed lunch.

National School Lunch Week is here in DCPS! All of our buildings will be celebrating this week with the nationwide pirate theme. Our schools will be setting sail for a week of delicious meals, fun games, buckets of prizes, and treasures for our students.
DCPS Fall Break is next week October 7-11.

Today, Daviess County Public Schools continued to support our partnership with River Valley Behavioral Health Hospital by attending the Grand Opening of the newly created BIRCH Program. As a public school district, we are proud to continue to provide instruction for students in this program and those at RVBH.
Be on the lookout for your student's bus on Monday, August 5 as the Transportation Department will be driving morning and evening routes for families to note times.
If you are unaware of your student's bus route time, please access your Stopfinder app for up-to-date information.
If you have questions, about your child's route you can contact the Transportation Department.
