Congratulations to DCPS Dr. Angela Gunter for being named a KY NBCT Champion. This award is given to individuals who have shown support for furthering the mission of spreading accomplished teaching to improve student learning in the Commonwealth.
Dr. Gunter serves as the District Literacy Instructional Coach and Gifted & Talented Coordinator,
Dr. Gunter stated, “I can’t tell you how much this recognition means to me. Of all the work I do, NBCT professional learning is the most transformative for those I work with. I will never forget how when I was first certifying, simply reading the questions made me realize changes I needed to make in my teaching. I credit the NBCT process for making me a reflective educator with a lifelong commitment to learning. I’m thrilled that all the newly certified teachers will be joining me on this amazing journey.”

Students from the DCHS Juntos club are working to create connections with younger students across the district through their Nos conectamos events, meaning "we connect."

Parents can update their email in Infinite Campus in their parent portal on their own or they can contact their school’s front office to make changes to primary email addresses. Updates and changes need to be made prior to February 7, 2024.
Stopfinder can be downloaded for free from the App Store or Google Play. Stopfinder will require an invite and registration through the district prior to accessing your student’s transportation schedule.
