Apollo theatre students attended the Kentucky state Thespian Festival this past weekend. Congratulations to the cast and crew of The Amazing Lemonade Girl for a great performance and to all students who performed in individual events and auditions. Xander Berry finished up his first year as a state officer and will continue as a Kentucky Thespians state officer for the next year. Sri Galla and James Matthew Chandler both received superior ratings on their individual events. James Matthew Chandler also received all star thespian recognition, won a tech challenge, and received two scholarships- one $500 scholarship from Kentucky Thespians and one 1/2 tuition scholarship to NKU totaling $27,176.
