new logo

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Owensboro,KY - Today, Daviess County Public Schools unveiled during the Opening Day ceremony  a new logo with a focus on Together for Kids. This is part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.

This new logo puts a focus on all high schools with color and design, while adhering to the themes of achievement, learning, and excellence. The traditional DCPS Star Kids continues to be prominent, continuing a tradition to represent all children enrolled in Daviess County Public Schools.

Superintendent Charles Broughton expressed excitement about the new logo and its significance. “Our new logo and motto, ‘Together for Kids,’ encapsulates the heart of what Daviess County Public Schools stands for,” said Mr. Broughton. “We believe that by coming together as educators, families, community partners, we can create a nurturing environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive. We can be confident in being together for kids because public schools work.”

This rebranding initiative is a part of a broader effort to enhance our district’s identity in our community and the Commonwealth. The logo and motto will be prominently displayed on all social media platforms, website, and district communications  in order to create consistency throughout the school district.
