The Student Services department of Daviess County Public Schools coordinates the district’s compliance with school enrollment and attendance laws and serves as custodian of all student data and records. The department coordinates and manages the electronic Student Information System. Student services works with  principals, teachers and parents/guardians in response to attendance or social/behavioral concerns. This work includes the identification of potential truancy and dropout issues and implementation of steps and programs to prevent and mitigate those issues. Student Services houses the district’s Physical and Mental Health Programs and the DCPS Police Department.
